Commercial Shellfish gathering on Hill Head Beach
Gangs of shellfish gatherers are often observed gathering inappropriate quantities of shellfish of Hill Head's beaches at low tide.

If you observe commercial shellfish gathers do not put yourself at risk, but any photos or registration numbers of vehicles or persons involved would be useful.
Action Fraud
Suspicious text messages ("smishing")
Forward it to Action Fraud free by sending to 7726. This enables your provider to identify the origin of the text and take action. If you have been a victim then report to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 (Mon-Fri 8.00am-8.00pm) or go to the Action Fraud website and using their online form.
Suspicious email ("phishing")
If you are not sure about an email then forward to the Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS) at report@phishing.gov.uk - it will go to the National Cyber Security Centre. Also report if you think you have been a victim of phishing.
Call the police on 101 immediately if:

the fraudster is still in the area;
-
you need help as a result of fraud;
-
a fraud is being committed or has occurred within the past 24 hours;
-
the victim is in a vulnerable category;

the police can secure evidence, eg CCTV, or recover large amounts of money transferred from a bank account before the criminal can remove it.
Jet Ski/Personal Water Craft (PWC) Issues
PWC operators remain responsible for their own safety and that of other water users and they are to ensure they remain a safe distance from other craft and swimmers at all times"
Note: They can operate within 0.5 NM from the shore but a 10 knot speed limit applies to all craft including PWCs within the harbour and within 0.5 nautical miles of the shore but they must ensure they remain a safe distance from other craft and swimmers at all times.

This should then be emailed to portsmouth@qhm.mod.uk or posted to QHM Portsmouth, Semaphore Tower, HM Naval Base Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO1 3LT.
